In Game 6, Tomas Hertl scored the first multi-overtime shorthanded goal in playoff history, making good on his guarantee after Game 5 that San Jose would be back at the Shark Tank for Game 7. The Sharks' last Game 7 was a 5-0 win at home in 2016 against Nashville. San Jose got goals from current Sharks Joe Pavelski, Logan Couture and "Jumbo" Joe Thornton. The game marks the first Game 7 in Vegas' two-year history, but it definitely is not the first for netminder Marc-Andre Fleury, who has a 3-0 record in the big game — including in the 2009 Stanley Cup Final between his Pittsburgh Penguins and the Detroit Red Wings.
